ABOUT ME:
- My name is Todd Callan and I am a Biology Professor at Germanna Community College in Fredricksburg, VA.
- I currently teach Biology 102 Online for the Z23 grant which involves the zero costs to students beyond tuition. So that means no books or lab fees involved.
- I am an avid diver and go spearfishing any chance I can. I have been diving all over the Caribbean, up and down the East Coast of the US, Alaska, and in Hawaii. I was a varsity college cheerleader (which is how I met my wife) and eventually head coach. Lastly, I love teaching Biology and look forward to doing so for many years to come!
- I have a vast knowledge of Biology, but I am constantly learning new awesome stuff every day. I am also very interested in expending my abilities as a teacher and strive to constantly improve and incorporate new ideas.
- This blog definitely helps me to feel more comfortable with the idea of using blogs in the classroom. I am already brainstorming different ways that I can utilize this in my online class.

ReplyDeleteWow, that's a big fish! I'm very impressed with the cheerleading aspect of your life. I was a cheerleader in high school but never tried to make it in college.
